As far as I know the xt build has been discontinued and replaced with a more budget minded SLX build. I got the xt bike and it is choice. Hope you get many miles on the beast of the midwest. ari
I had heard they weren't building as many of them, but I hadn't heard of an outright discontinuation. I've been waiting about a month or so for mine, so I am starting to have some concerns. That said, Salsa still had both the SLX and the XT build listed on their site the last time I looked. Might be time for an email to Salsa to check...
Steve, We are Salsa Dealers. I sold an 18" to a customer and he wanted the xt build. We purchased the 18" frame and will take apart an XL Xt bike that we have to swap stuff over. We are also waiting on 31.8 and 25.4 Woodchipper bars in 46cm. Best of luck in the new bike. They are a bit tricky to dial in position wise so be patient. The Size0matic adjustable stem from Salsa helps a lot. best my friend, Ari

Lucky!!!! I REALLY want one. Maybe some day.
I am quite stoked, to say the least. :)
So that's why you're voting a few bikes off the island! Very cool! I call dibs on a test ride. :-)
Great to see you and "Big C" yesterday. Now you know where the sag stop is if you're around downtown and bonking. Stop by any time!
Yep... You won't be disappointed. Good choice.
